Field Service Technician - High Voltage & 3-Phase Power Systems (Marine)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $28–$30/hour
Travel: Up to 50% (Required, including last-minute assignments)

If so, we want you for a critical role supporting advanced power solutions in the marine industry!

We are a well-established company seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician. This isn't just any electrical role; it's a specialized position requiring deep expertise due to the dangerous nature of the equipment involved. Only candidates with verifiable, hands-on experience in high-voltage and 3-phase power systems will be considered.

What We Absolutely Need:
-ESSENTIAL: Extensive, hands-on experience with High Voltage and 3-Phase Power Systems. This is non-negotiable for safety and effectiveness.
-REQUIRED: Flexibility for significant travel (up to 50%), including last-minute assignments.
-A valid U.S. Passport and Driver’s License.

Your Core Responsibilities:
-Respond to urgent customer calls and emails regarding technical issues.
-Diagnose, start-up, and repair complex, high-power electrical equipment.
-Travel to domestic and international customer sites for critical field service.
-Prepare and coordinate parts delivery and service documentation.
-Train customers thoroughly on unit operation and vital safety procedures.
-Maintain detailed service records and provide clear, professional reports.
-Work overtime as needed to meet demanding service schedules.

What You Bring to the Team:
-Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated, hands-on experience with 3-phase power systems.
-Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics for advanced troubleshooting.
-Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
-Technical training: An Associate's degree in electronics or a similar technical/military school background is highly preferred.
-An exceptional level of safety awareness is paramount, along with a professional demeanor.
-Willingness and ability to lift up to 90 lbs, maneuver in tight marine spaces, and confidently work around high voltage equipment.
