Join a legacy of excellence in estate planning, trust administration, probate, and tax services for high-net-worth clients. We're seeking a meticulous, professional paralegal to support attorneys in delivering exceptional results through precise estate and trust administration.

Responsibilities

Manage estate/trust cases from planning through final distribution
Prepare estate, inheritance, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns; Federal Form 1041, Federal Schedule K-1 (Form 1041), NJ-1041 (NJ Fiduciary Income Tax Return), etc. 
Handle estate/trust accountings: asset valuation, distributions, bill payments, reconciliations
Draft wills, revocable/irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, health care directives
Support probate: petitions, inventories, accountings, deeds, court filings
Coordinate with courts, beneficiaries, financial institutions, appraisers
Conduct legal research, financial analysis, prepare correspondence and tax calculations
Track deadlines, maintain records, ensure state/federal compliance

Qualifications & Skills

7–10 years trust/estate experience (administration, probate, tax preparation preferred)
Proficiency in ProSeries, FAS/FATE, NumberCruncher, TValue, Tax Help Software (or comparable)
Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Paralegal certificate preferred (not required); Bachelor's degree preferred
Exceptional organizational skills and deadline management
Superior written/verbal communication for clients and courts
Detail-oriented with ability to work independently on complex matters
