Qualifications
1-5 years of experience as a Farm Equipment Mechanic, Agricultural Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Equipment Technician
Experience repairing and maintaining tractors, implements, agricultural equipment, and farm machinery
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and equipment diagnostics
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
Understanding of workplace and shop safety practices
Comfortable working in an outdoor agricultural environment
Strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail
Basic computer, recordkeeping, or work order documentation skills preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to equipment repair needs in a timely manner

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tractors, farm equipment, and agricultural machinery
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment servicing
Repair mechanical and hydraulic systems to ensure equipment reliability and performance
Complete equipment adjustments and component replacements as needed
Identify equipment issues and implement effective repair solutions
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
Support equipment readiness during busy farming and harvest operations
Assist with maintenance and repair of related farm vehicles and equipment as needed
Work independently while contributing to overall operational efficiency
