Job Title: Family Law Paralegal (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Raleigh, NC
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 (DOE)
Schedule: Hybrid (In-Office + Remote Flexibility)
We are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Paralegal for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a reputable and collaborative law firm based in Raleigh, NC. This position requires direct experience in family law, including divorce proceedings, and demands a high level of professionalism, discretion, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and equitable distribution cases
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
Manage case files from inception through resolution
Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner
Maintain strict confidentiality and exhibit a client-centered approach
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a paralegal in family law required
Strong knowledge of North Carolina family law procedures and court rules
Excellent writing, organizational, and case management skills
Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
