About the Role:
The Factory Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring all factories and suppliers operate according to ethical, social, environmental, and quality manufacturing standards. This role leads the development, execution, and ongoing improvement of the company’s factory compliance program to support responsible manufacturing across a global supply chain.
You will ensure factories are approved, monitored, and continuously improved to meet corporate expectations, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations—playing a key role in strengthening transparency, sustainability, and accountability across all manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Leadership & Oversight
Lead and implement the factory compliance strategy aligned with corporate values, customer expectations, and good manufacturing practices
Plan, conduct, and oversee audits, inspections, and compliance assessments for factories and suppliers
Support sourcing decisions through evaluation and approval of new factories based on compliance readiness
Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
Develop compliance tools, tracking systems, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
Monitor sustainability initiatives, risk indicators, and performance results
Partner cross-functionally to address compliance gaps, implement corrective action plans, and prevent recurrence
Track and ensure factories maintain required registrations, permits, licenses, and reporting obligations
Training & Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong relationships with factory partners to encourage transparency and improvement
Lead training programs for factory leadership and workers on safety, social accountability, and manufacturing standards
Serve as an internal subject matter expert on factory compliance and responsible manufacturing
Documentation & Team Leadership:
Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and reporting systems
Identify risk trends and recommend improvements
Lead and develop a team of compliance or quality professionals
