Job Summary

We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is ideal for a hands-on facilities professional who enjoys keeping buildings organized, operational, and ready for daily business needs.

The Facilities Coordinator will support preventive maintenance, complete work orders, coordinate supplies and repair materials, assist vendors, and help maintain a safe and efficient workplace. This is a strong opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of facilities, maintenance, or operations support experience who is looking to grow with a stable team in a collaborative environment.

This position offers the chance to work with supportive leadership, interact with multiple departments, and contribute directly to facility reliability and day-to-day operational success. The right candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative, communicates well, and enjoys solving practical maintenance and facilities challenges.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly facilities maintenance tasks according to established best practices.
- Respond to assigned work orders accurately and on time, including conference room setup and general facility support.
- Monitor janitorial supply inventory, replenish materials, and procure repair-related parts such as plumbing components, drivers, seal tags, and Home Depot list items.
- Submit ServiceNow tickets for issues found during inspections, maintenance activities, or facility walkthroughs.
- Prepare and maintain capacity reports, termination reports, task completion updates, and outstanding issue communications.
- Support vendor coordination by providing direction, access, and assistance to help expedite repair and service work.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $20 to $23 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform preventive and corrective facility maintenance tasks to support building readiness and operational efficiency.
- Complete facilities work orders, conference room setups, inspections, and maintenance-related service requests.
- Procure parts, materials, and janitorial supplies needed for repairs, maintenance, and administrative support.
- Coordinate with vendors, submit ServiceNow tickets, and communicate updates on facility issues and task status.

- 1 to 2 years of facilities, maintenance, repair, operations support, or related experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of building maintenance needs.
- Ability to complete scheduled maintenance tasks and follow established procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage supplies, reports, work orders, and priorities.
- Self-motivated work style with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
- Clear communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and administrative staff.
- Willingness to provide front desk coverage as needed.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with ServiceNow or similar work order ticketing systems.
- Prior experience supporting facilities in a commercial, office, residential, construction, or maintenance environment.
- Familiarity with vendor coordination, supply inventory, and basic repair parts procurement.
