We are partnering with a well-established, growing manufacturing organization to hire two Fabrication Technicians for direct-hire roles. This is a hands-on position ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working with precision equipment in a team-based production environment.
What You’ll Do
Follow established layouts and work plans to complete fabrication sequences.
Read and interpret measurements using calipers, tape measures, and rulers.
Position components in jigs, fixtures, or clamps according to layout marks.
Select, mark, cut, bend, assemble, bond, and/or weld materials per work orders.
Set up and operate fabrication equipment including (but not limited to):
hot air welders, mills, drill presses, saws, flange forming machines, tubing benders, UV curing equipment, and lathes.
Assemble components in compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Record lot numbers for materials and finished products.
Inspect work for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to requirements.
Clean finished products using approved chemicals and non-linting materials.
Perform testing using electrical leak testers, pressure/vacuum methods, and other procedures as required; document results.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Balance individual responsibilities while contributing positively to the team.
Manage time effectively to meet productivity goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read blueprints, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and quality documentation.
Comfort working with precision tools and detailed work instructions.
Solid math skills, including percentages, area, volume, and basic geometry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
4+ years of related fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Technical schooling or certifications in machining or welding are a plus.
