Fabricator / Welder – 1st Shift
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift



We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator / Welder to join our team on 1st shift. This role requires working in a cleanroom environment and wearing a full bunny suit (cleanroom protective apparel) throughout the shift. Candidates must be comfortable working under strict cleanliness and quality standards.



Essential Functions

Follow developed layouts and fabrication plans to complete work orders.

Read and interpret measurements using calipers, tape measures, rulers, and other precision measuring tools.

Position parts in jigs, fixtures, or clamps according to layout specifications.

Select, mark, cut, and bend materials as required.

Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including:

Hot air welders

Mills

Drill presses

Saws
Flange forming machines

Tubing benders

Ultraviolet curing machines

Lathes


Assemble, construct, bond, and weld components according to specifications.

Record lot numbers for all materials and products used.

Monitor work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.

Clean finished products using approved chemicals and non-linting wipes.

Perform product testing using electrical leak testers, pressure testing, vacuum testing, and other required methods.
Document test results accurately.

Manage workload effectively while contributing to a positive team environment.

Prioritize tasks to meet production goals and deadlines.

Follow all safety procedures and properly use equipment and materials.

Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Skills

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

4+ years of related fabrication, welding, machining, or manufacturing experience preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Technical training or certifications in welding or machining are a plus.

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and quality documentation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow detailed work instructions and use precision tools.

Solid math skills, including percentages, area, volume, and basic geometry.

Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing a bunny suit for extended periods.
