ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Follow the developed layouts and plans for the sequence of fabrication tasks.
• Read and interpret measurements using calipers, tape measures, and rulers.
• Position parts in jigs, fixtures, or clamps along layout marks on the worktable.
• Select, mark, cut, or bend materials as specified by work orders.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including hot air welders, mills, drill presses, saws, flange forming machines, tubing benders, ultraviolet curing machines, and lathes.
• Assemble, construct, bond, and/or weld components in accordance with work order specifications.
• Record lot numbers for all products and materials used.
• Monitor work to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with quality standards including that workpieces conform to specified requirements.
• Clean finished products using designated chemicals or cleaning agents; use non-linting wipes as directed.
• Test completed products using electrical leak testers, pressure and vacuum methods, or other procedures as required by material or product type, document test results accordingly.
• Balance individual responsibilities while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets.
• Observe safety procedures and use equipment and materials appropriately.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Supports company goals and values; adheres to policies and completes administrative tasks on time.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprints, BoM’s and quality documentation.
