Job Summary

A growing industry leader in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Direct Hire FP&A Manager to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This high-visibility finance role partners closely with senior leadership and department leaders to improve financial performance, identify business trends, and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across the organization.
- Analyze financial performance drivers and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop financial models to evaluate profitability, operational efficiency, business trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with department heads to manage the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecast updates.
- Conduct variance analysis, monitor financial results, and prepare financial reports and dashboards.
- Deliver financial insights that support operational improvements and strategic decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $120,000 to $145,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Build and maintain financial models to support profitability analysis and business decisions.
- Prepare variance analysis, dashboards, and executive-level financial reporting.
- Partner with senior leadership and department heads to improve financial performance.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of FP&A experience.
- Strong experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using financial planning software and ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and business partnering skills.
- Ability to work in an office environment and travel monthly by car or airplane as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Microsoft DataVerse.
- Experience developing dashboards and financial reporting tools.
- Background supporting operational finance, multi-department budgeting, or business services environments.
