Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR. This role is ideal for a hands-on facilities maintenance professional who enjoys leading maintenance activities, coordinating vendors, supporting safety programs, and ensuring a reliable, compliant physical plant operation.
The Facilities Supervisor will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across warehouse and office environments, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, landscaping, refrigeration, HVAC, and related building systems. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to operational stability, facility improvement projects, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within a structured and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facilities, equipment, and critical building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and related systems.
- Coordinate contractors and vendors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and service expectations.
- Monitor warehouse and office facility conditions, identify repair needs, and support facility improvement or remodeling projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, licenses, permits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support safety, health, environmental, contingency planning, and emergency response initiatives to help ensure operational continuity.
- Design, develop, and implement preventive maintenance programs that improve reliability, efficiency, and long-term facility performance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $45,000 per year.

- Availability to work Saturdays as required or for special projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Supervise facility maintenance operations across warehouse, office, and physical plant environments.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance programs, corrective repairs, contractor work, and facility improvement projects.
- Support compliance with safety, health, environmental, building code, license, and permit requirements.
- Report maintenance findings, facility risks, and operational needs to management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Occupational Safety, Project Management, or a related field.
- Preferably three or more years of experience in facility maintenance, employee supervision, contractor management, and related projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, facility maintenance practices, building codes, and general physical plant operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize work, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to perform medium physical work, including moving objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in varied facility environments, including occasional exposure to outdoor elements, noise, high or low temperatures, hazardous conditions, and operation of machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or heavy equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting facility operations within a warehouse, logistics, transport, storage, or materials handling environment.
- Experience developing preventive maintenance programs for critical facility systems.
- Experience coordinating remodeling, repair, or facility improvement projects.
- Familiarity with contractor safety oversight and regulatory documentation processes.
