Job Summary
A growing organization in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This high-visibility role will partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis.
The FP&A Manager will play a key role in helping the business understand performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and make informed decisions that support growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys building financial models, improving reporting visibility, and contributing directly to executive-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing performance management processes.
- Analyze key financial drivers, business trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate profitability, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives.
- Partner with department leaders during the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecast updates.
- Conduct variance analysis, monitor financial results, and recommend adjustments based on business performance.
- Prepare dashboards, reporting tools, and executive-level financial presentations for senior leadership.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $135,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead enterprise-level FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Build financial models and reporting tools to evaluate business performance and support leadership decisions.
- Partner with department heads and senior executives to review results, adjust forecasts, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare clear financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for CFO and senior leadership review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of FP&A experience.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems.
- Experience with Power BI and Microsoft DataVerse.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across finance, operations, and department leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in accounting, auditing, professional services, or a related financial services environment.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or related advanced finance credential.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and improving financial reporting processes.
- Prior experience reporting directly to or partnering closely with CFO-level leadership.
