Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Event Planner for a direct hire opportunity in Bothell, WA, supporting high-impact events within the financial services industry. The Experienced Event Planner will lead the full lifecycle of seminars, client-facing programs, and marketing-driven events that support measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage in-person events, including venue selection, logistics, scheduling, guest experience, registration, staffing, setup, and breakdown.
- Develop event concepts and execution strategies aligned with target audiences, business goals, and direct response objectives.
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, including venues, caterers, AV providers, and other event service partners.
- Build and track event budgets, monitor expenses, negotiate favorable pricing, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to support event promotion, branding, messaging, signage, and event materials.
- Conduct post-event debriefs and prepare performance reporting on attendance, feedback, ROI, budget outcomes, and improvement opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $79,000 to $89,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage the full lifecycle of direct response events, seminars, and client-facing programs.
- Coordinate event logistics, vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, and onsite execution.
- Support event promotion, branded materials, stakeholder communication, and post-event reporting.
- Oversee multiple concurrent events while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timelines.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in event planning or event management.
- Experience with direct response, seminar-based, client-facing, marketing-driven, or lead-generation events is strongly relevant.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate external service providers.
- Strong budget management, expense tracking, and cost-control skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex events at the same time.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in fast-moving live event environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed for event setup.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel out of town multiple times per month.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
- Familiarity with Adobe tools such as Photoshop or InDesign.
- Background supporting marketing-driven, lead-generation, seminar, or direct response events.
- Experience preparing event copy, messaging, signage, or branded event materials.
