Our community banking client is seeking an Experienced Bank Teller / Universal Banker to join their branch team. If you have recent teller experience in a bank or credit union and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions
• Open and service consumer deposit accounts
• Assist customers with account maintenance and banking inquiries
• Identify opportunities to refer banking products and services
• Maintain compliance with banking policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• Recent bank or credit union teller experience required
• New account experience preferred
• Strong cash handling and balancing skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

- Open new consumer and business accounts and maintain accurate account documentation.
- Process teller transactions and support daily branch operations.
- Provide relationship-based customer service and identify appropriate banking solutions.
- Support compliance standards, including BSA requirements and banking regulations.
- Minimum 2+ years of recent teller experience in a retail banking environment.
- Experience opening consumer and business accounts.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, account documentation, and BSA compliance.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to cross-sell banking products and services in a customer-focused manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking systems.
- Ability to handle confidential customer information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through in a branch banking setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CDs, IRAs, trust accounts, and business banking.
- Community banking or relationship-based banking experience.
- Demonstrated success meeting referral goals or branch sales goals.
- Ability to contribute to a positive team culture and provide dependable support to branch leadership.
