Overview:
An established legal team is seeking a highly skilled Executive Legal Assistant with at least 4 years of experience supporting senior attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and operational tasks. This role involves frequent interaction with attorneys, clients, and staff, and requires a strong understanding of litigation processes and legal procedures.
The successful candidate will bring professionalism, initiative, sound judgment, and discretion while handling sensitive and privileged information. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of a collaborative litigation team.
Must have :
Minimum 4 years of legal administrative experience, preferably supporting senior attorneys in litigation
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, litigation processes, and court procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex calendaring and scheduling for client meetings, litigation deadlines, court appearances, discovery, and depositions
Track and record billable time accurately using a case billing system
Assist with attorney-client billing, including reviewing, verifying, and editing billable hours before invoice preparation
Provide trial preparation support, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials
Draft, proofread, and prepare correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents with precision and professionalism
Serve as a liaison with internal teams, clients, outside counsel, and third parties
Handle administrative and clerical tasks, supporting attorneys in daily operations
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of legal administrative experience, preferably supporting senior attorneys in litigation
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, litigation processes, and court procedures
Proficiency with case management and billing systems
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
Skilled at multitasking and prioritizing in a deadline-driven environment
Compensation & Benefits:
