Job Title: Executive Assistant to VP of Advancement (Higher Education or Nonprofit)
PLEASE NOTE Location: Greenwood, SC (On-site)
Job Type: Temporary / Contract
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with summer hours
Pay: $22.05 to $23.07 per hour

Required and Preferred Experience
• Executive assistant or senior administrative experience, preferably within higher education, foundation, or nonprofit environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Highly organized, responsive, and comfortable supporting senior leadership

About the Opportunity
We are a recruiting and staffing agency partnering with a state department in Greenwood, SC to identify an Executive Assistant to support University Advancement leadership. This is a temporary contract opportunity created due to a current vacancy, and immediate availability is strongly preferred.

Position Summary
This role provides high-level administrative and executive support to the Vice President for University Advancement and leadership team during a staffing transition. The ideal candidate is experienced in supporting senior leaders, managing competing priorities, and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage calendars, meetings, and communications for Advancement leadership
• Prepare correspondence, briefing materials, and internal documentation
• Coordinate meetings, events, and donor-related logistics
• Serve as a primary administrative contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain confidential records and support daily office operations
