This Exciting Accounting Opportunity – Charter School Clients Position Features:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial and accounting operations of our Charter School clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in GAAP, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and a solid understanding of fund accounting, payroll, and accounts payable. This role requires the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
The Accountant will work closely with senior leadership and clients to prepare financial reports, budgets, payroll, reconciliations, and compliance documentation. This position is well-suited for a self-starter who can work independently, communicate complex financial information clearly, and adapt to changing priorities. Experience in nonprofit, government, or school-based accounting is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate is:
Experienced with QuickBooks, payroll, and AP
Knowledgeable in fund accounting or willing to learn
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll, accounts payable, and journal entries
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
Conduct reconciliations and assist with budget preparation
Support internal auditing and compliance
