Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (must be flexible for some evenings and weekends for events; overtime may be required)
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and organized Event Coordinator to plan and execute a variety of events from start to finish. This role is key to ensuring each event runs smoothly, including securing venues and presenters, coordinating catering, managing setup and breakdown, and supporting overall event logistics.
Responsibilities
Assist with scheduling, planning, and facilitating events
Research and secure venues, presenters, and catering vendors
Oversee event setup and breakdown to ensure smooth operations
Design and create event flyers and promotional materials
Assist with email marketing campaigns and event communications
Provide administrative support to committees and the board
Represent the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm
Qualifications
High school diploma required; some college preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative support and/or event coordination
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Professional, reliable, and a collaborative team player
