Job Summary

We are seeking an Estimator, Sales, PM for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a fire protection or construction professional who enjoys a blend of estimating, customer coordination, project management, and technical problem solving.

The Estimator, Sales, PM will support fire sprinkler system projects from bid through completion, helping ensure accurate estimates, organized project turnover, strong communication, and successful financial performance. Key Responsibilities

- Review construction contract documents, drawings, specifications, permits, change orders, and project requirements to support accurate planning and execution.
- Estimate and manage fire sprinkler system installations while maintaining schedules, minimizing overages, and tracking labor and material costs.
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, design teams, field staff, and internal departments to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Manage project budgets, purchase orders, RFIs, change orders, billing reviews, meeting minutes, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform estimating tasks including hydraulic calculations, seismic bracing layout and pricing, underground system layout and bidding, and hydrant calculations.
- Maintain strong customer communication, accurate records, organized digital files, and positive long-term relationships with clients and project partners.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $100,000 to $140,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Estimate fire sprinkler and fire protection projects from plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Manage multiple active projects, schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs, and customer communications.
- Coordinate project turnover, kickoff meetings, field needs, design requirements, fabrication schedules, and project documentation.
- Support sales efforts by preparing timely and accurate estimates, booking new jobs, and updating project databases.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in estimating, project management, construction coordination, fire protection, engineering services, or a related field.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, fire protection drawings, contracts, permits, submittals, and change orders.
- Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, hydraulic calculations, underground systems, seismic bracing, and hydrant calculations.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and meeting project deadlines.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, field teams, design teams, and internal departments.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, leadership ability, and a team-focused approach to project success.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience estimating and managing fire sprinkler system installations.
- Experience coordinating with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, field crews, and design teams.
- Familiarity with construction project financial tracking, labor and material cost control, purchase orders, and billing reviews.
- Experience supporting sales teams with bid preparation, pricing, project booking, and database updates.
