Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to manage the full cycle of pre-construction activities. This role partners closely with an estimating director to produce accurate, timely estimates and contracts while supporting strategic bidding and project planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Define contract scopes and analyze plans, specifications, and project documentation
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Research, source, negotiate, and secure competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Analyze productivity, cost drivers, and external factors impacting project budgets
• Assess financial, technical, and operational risks
• Conduct site visits to gather critical project details
• Support bidding decisions and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and proposal documentation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the pre-construction process

Qualifications

• Experience with construction estimating and pre-construction project cycles
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate cost, risk, and feasibility
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite in Southaven, MS

Compensation

Competitive salary typically ranging from $60,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience
