We’re looking for someone who can own projects from pre-construction through completion. This role blends estimating with project management—ideal for someone who can price work accurately, then stay engaged to ensure execution runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating (Pre-Construction)
Prepare accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals
Review drawings, specs, and project scope to identify risks and opportunities
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing
Develop takeoffs, budgets, and timelines
Partner with sales/business development on client proposals
Project Management (Execution)
Manage projects from kickoff through closeout
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
Track budgets, schedules, and project milestones
Handle change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Maintain strong client communication throughout the lifecycle
Qualifications
3–8+ years of experience in estimating, project management, or both
Background in [construction, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, etc.]
Strong understanding of project costing, contracts, and scheduling
Experience with estimating software and/or project management tools
Ability to manage multiple projects at once without losing detail
Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have
Experience in [specific industry: commercial construction, exhibits, electrical, etc.]
Exposure to design-build or fast-paced project environments
PMP or similar certification (not required)
