Job Title: Estimator
Overview:
Our client is seeking an Estimator to support projects within mission critical environments such as data centers, healthcare facilities, and institutional settings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, reviewing technical information, and developing accurate project estimates that help drive business opportunities forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop scope and pricing
Collaborate with customers, engineers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and timelines
Support sales efforts from initial inquiry through project award and handoff to production
Track quotes, follow up with customers, and contribute to improving overall win rates
Qualifications:
Experience in estimating within manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial environments
Mechanically and technically inclined with strong problem solving skills
Comfortable working with college level math concepts
Interest in reading and interpreting technical drawings; CAD experience or coursework is a plus
Willingness to learn documentation processes including submittals and technical manuals
Ability to break down complex tasks and manage projects from start to finish
Strong analytical thinking with a proactive and solution oriented mindset
Demonstrates ownership, initiative, and drive
Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience in industries such as pumps, plumbing, drafting, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or other technical or field service environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
