We are seeking a detail-oriented Estate Planning Legal Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a full-service business law firm in Orlando, FL. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for a legal administrative professional who enjoys supporting attorneys, managing important client and matter details, and contributing to a polished, client-focused legal practice.

The Estate Planning Legal Assistant will work in a professional office environment with supportive leadership, a collaborative team culture, and a strong emphasis on quality, organization, and client service. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain paper and electronic legal files in accordance with firm policies using the firm’s document management system.
- Format, proofread, and finalize correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents from written and dictated attorney drafts.
- Schedule client meetings, manage calendars, and monitor attorney schedules to ensure deadlines and commitments are met.
- Submit attorney billing entries and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys or executives while managing shifting priorities.
- Assist with other legal administrative duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support multiple attorneys or executives with legal administrative tasks, document preparation, calendaring, and client coordination.
- Maintain legal files, manage document workflows, and support matter organization using document management systems.
- Prepare, format, proofread, and revise correspondence, memos, and legal documents.
- Assist with billing entries, expense reports, scheduling, and other administrative priorities.

- Minimum of 3 years of Legal Assistant experience required.
- Strong background supporting multiple attorneys or executives, ideally in a law firm environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF tools required.
- Experience with document management systems and legal drafting software required.
- Minimum typing speed of 75 words per minute required.
- Excellent written communication, proofreading, and document formatting skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with clients, attorneys, and colleagues.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting an estate planning practice.
- Experience with iManage.
