About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our fast-paced, professional real estate closing team onsite in Seattle. This role is only open to Washington State residents and requires working onsite daily. As an Escrow Assistant, you will support Escrow Officers by coordinating real estate transactions from opening through closing, managing documents, communicating with clients, lenders, and agents, and ensuring timely, accurate processing of all escrow-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Review and process real estate documents accurately and efficiently
Assist Escrow Officers in preparing closing documents and settlements
Manage multiple escrow transactions simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
Communicate daily with clients, lenders, agents, and borrowers providing exceptional customer service
Open escrow orders, distribute title commitments/reports, and resolve title issues
Handle disbursement of closing funds and final documentation
Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with escrow regulations
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
Previous experience as an Escrow Assistant or in a related real estate closing role highly preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with escrow software such as SoftPro or similar title/escrow platforms
Basic aptitude with numbers and financial documents
Certifications (Preferred):
Notary Public (Washington State preferred)
Title Insurance or Escrow Licensing certifications a plus
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
High degree of honesty, trustworthiness, and discretion with sensitive information
Team player with a customer-focused attitude
