Equipment Engineer – Contract Role
Location: Rocky Hill, CT 06067
Pay: $27.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 9 months
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Equipment Engineer to support equipment product development and project management initiatives. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for innovation in manufacturing processes.
Key Qualifications:
Pursuing or holding a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
SolidWorks proficiency preferred.
Exposure to manufacturing processes, statistical analysis, and project management.
Strong technical aptitude, hands-on mechanical skills, and laboratory experience.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to understand and integrate digital technologies into equipment solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Development Engineers on:
Design, development, and testing of new equipment and chemical technologies.
Creation and management of technical drawing packages.
Evaluation and integration of digital technologies to enhance user experience.
Support project processing and provide technical assistance throughout development.
Develop customer-focused instructional videos and update marketing content for new products.
