We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager who is passionate about environmental solutions and thrives in a dynamic, field-driven environment. In this role, you will lead environmental remediation and compliance projects that make a real impact by protecting communities, restoring environments, and supporting critical infrastructure projects.

Location: Southaven, MS
Position Type: Direct Hire
Pay rate: Up to $65k-$85k DOE


What You’ll Do

• Lead the full lifecycle of environmental remediation and compliance projects from planning through successful completion
• Oversee site assessments, remediation activities, and environmental compliance efforts
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to ensure projects stay on schedule
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.)
• Develop and review project scopes, proposals, budgets, cost estimates, and schedules
• Monitor project performance and maintain strong cost control and profitability
• Conduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Serve as the primary client contact and build strong working relationships
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and regulatory submissions
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to keep projects moving forward successfully

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of environmental project management experience
• Background in environmental remediation, industrial services, rail environmental support, or heavy civil projects
• Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and environmental compliance standards
• Experience managing field crews and subcontractors across multiple projects
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control project costs
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally to project sites
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software

Preferred Experience

• Rail corridor remediation or industrial site cleanup
• Experience with stormwater, SPCC, soil and groundwater remediation, or hazardous material projects
• PMP certification preferred but not required
• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
