Salary: $75,000+
Schedule: Monday–Friday

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and build EHS programs for a growing manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-scaling or startup environments and enjoys building systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement site-wide EHS programs
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ADEQ, and local regulations
Promote a strong, proactive safety culture on the production floor
Lead safety audits, incident investigations, JHAs, and risk assessments
Manage hazardous waste, chemical safety, and spill prevention
Oversee EHS vendors, contractors, and safety training programs
Support production ramp-up and future EHS team growth

Qualifications
7–10+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing
Background in chemical, battery, electronics, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing
Experience launching or scaling EHS programs
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA/RCRA, and chemical safety
Ability to work full-time on-site in Phoenix, AZ

Preferred
Energy storage or lithium-ion manufacturing experience
Supporting new facility or production scale-up
