Are you detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in purchasing and supply chain? We’re looking for a motivated, trainable Purchasing Clerk to join our team and grow with us!
This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is moldable, coachable, and excited to develop purchasing and negotiation skills in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with purchasing activities including sourcing, ordering, and vendor communication
- Support negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery
- Maintain purchase orders and records accurately using internal systems
- Communicate clearly with vendors, internal teams, and management
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer systems to track and report purchasing activity
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of purchasing or related experience (internships or industry-related experience welcomed)
- Strong basic computer skills, especially MS Word and Excel
- Confident verbal and written communication skills, with an interest in learning negotiation
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new systems and processes
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Structural steel or construction industry background is a HUGE plus
We’re especially interested in candidates with industry experience who want to transition into purchasing—we will train!
