What You'll Do
-Prepare and review individual, business, trust, estate, and gift tax returns
-Manage multi-state tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
-Conduct quarterly tax planning for business and individual clients
-Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation prior to tax preparation
-Research tax laws, regulations, and complex tax issues to provide accurate guidance
-Communicate directly with taxing authorities to resolve inquiries and compliance matters
-Partner with clients and colleagues to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality tax services
-Support clients with tax-related questions and planning strategies throughout the year
What We're Looking For
-CPA, EA (Enrolled Agent), or actively pursuing licensure
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-5+ years of income tax preparation experience
-Experience preparing business, individual, trust, or estate tax returns
-Knowledge of multi-state taxation and tax compliance
-Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, PDF software, and accounting applications
-Experience with tax preparation software such as UltraTax, Lacerte, CCH Axcess, Drake, or similar platforms is a plus
-Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines in a paperless environment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Competitive salary of $70,000-$80,000
