A well-established full-service engineering and geotechnical consulting firm with offices across the West Coast is seeking a Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) to join its growing California team. This role supports Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Testing & Inspection teams and offers the opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects across the state.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct geological site investigations and prepare detailed technical reports
Evaluate geologic hazards and provide foundation recommendations for engineering designs
Perform field mapping, subsurface exploration, and laboratory analysis of soil samples
Develop erosion control plans and advise on environmental impact considerations
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or related field
Certification: Active California Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) license required
Experience: 5+ years in engineering geology, geotechnical consulting, or related project work
Knowledge: Strong understanding of California geology, seismic risk assessment, and environmental regulations
Ability to manage field investigations, interpret geologic data, and communicate findings clearly in reports
