A leading engineered solutions provider is seeking an Engineered Sales Representative to support its growing client base. This role is well-suited for an individual who is comfortable engaging with technical stakeholders, assessing complex system requirements, and delivering reliable, solutions-focused support to cities, contractors, and consulting engineers involved in the design and maintenance of critical infrastructure.

In this position, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate equipment and engineered solutions, and managing the full sales cycle from initial consultation through pricing, negotiations, and post-sale support.

Responsibilities include conducting site visits; meeting with project engineers and municipal decision-makers; prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities; maintaining and expanding existing accounts; and communicating regularly through meetings, calls, and written correspondence.

Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to articulate complex information, and a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and dependable service delivery.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree (engineering or related field preferred)
-Minimum of five years’ experience in technical, industrial, or municipal sales
-Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss complex mechanical, electrical, or process-related concepts
-Ability to travel within the assigned territory
-Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/database tools

Compensation & Benefits

-$90,000 base salary, with 30% commission and bonus plans beginning in second year
