Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Melbourne, FL. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who enjoys serving as a strategic advisor, supporting HR business partners, and helping leaders navigate complex employee relations matters with confidence, consistency, and compliance.
The Employee Relations Manager will play a key role in strengthening workplace culture, improving retention, and supporting organizational effectiveness across a multi-state environment. This is a high-impact opportunity to work with supportive leadership, collaborate with regional HR teams, and contribute to meaningful HR initiatives that promote fairness, accountability, and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to HR business partners on employee relations, workforce planning, leadership matters, and organizational effectiveness.
- Analyze workforce metrics, including turnover, retention, and engagement, to identify trends and recommend strategies that improve employee retention and business outcomes.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to HRBPs on performance management, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and employee relations matters.
- Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk employee relations issues, including investigations, documentation, and compliant resolution strategies.
- Partner with regional HRBPs and HR leadership to standardize employee relations practices, policies, procedures, and communication across multiple states.
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics, trends, and insights to support informed business decision-making.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $105,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advise HRBPs and leadership on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and conflict resolution.
- Manage and support complex employee relations investigations, documentation, and compliance-focused outcomes.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, improve retention, and support organizational decision-making.
- Partner with regional HR teams to align employee relations practices with corporate HR strategies across multiple states.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant employee relations, HR business partner, or related human resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly in multi-state environments.
- Demonstrated experience handling sensitive employee relations matters with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong conflict resolution, coaching, consultation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence HR partners and business leaders without direct authority.
- Strategic thinking skills with the ability to lead change efforts, solve complex problems, and take ownership of projects and systems.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and formulas.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting employee relations across multiple states or regions.
- Experience partnering with legal counsel on sensitive employee matters.
- Experience developing HR reports, workforce analytics, and leadership presentations.
