We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Melbourne, FL. This hybrid/onsite role is ideal for a strategic HR professional who thrives in a high-visibility advisory position and enjoys partnering with HR Business Partners, regional leadership, and business teams to resolve complex employee relations matters.
The Employee Relations Manager will serve as a trusted escalation point across a multi-state region, helping strengthen employee engagement, improve leadership capability, and support a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful organizational impact through employee relations strategy, investigations, workforce trend analysis, performance management support, and process improvement.

During the initial months, this individual will build strong relationships with regional leaders and HR teams, gain a deep understanding of business needs, and establish a trusted presence as a key HR advisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and regional leadership on employee relations matters, workforce challenges, performance concerns, and leadership support needs.
- Act as an escalation resource for complex, sensitive, or high-risk employee relations issues, including conducting or guiding workplace investigations.
- Partner with HR teams across multiple states to ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, documentation standards, and employee relations practices.
- Analyze workforce data, including turnover, retention, and engagement trends, to identify insights and recommend actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to support compliance, reduce risk, and ensure sound handling of sensitive employee matters.
- Lead or support HR process improvements, change management initiatives, reporting, dashboards, and leadership presentations related to employee relations trends.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $90,000 to $105,000 per year.
- Employment Type: Direct Hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advise HR Business Partners and regional leaders on complex employee relations matters and workforce challenges.
- Conduct or guide sensitive workplace investigations and support performance management processes.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to develop recommendations that improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Support consistent employee relations practices across a multi-state region.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant human resources, employee relations, HR advisory, or HR generalist experience.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, ideally in a multi-state environment.
- Experience handling complex employee relations cases, workplace investigations, performance issues, and sensitive employee matters.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and guide leaders at all levels.
- Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, documentation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis tools.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel regionally as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior employee relations experience supporting a multi-state workforce.
- Experience partnering with legal counsel on high-risk or sensitive employee relations matters.
- Experience developing HR reports, dashboards, presentations, or workforce trend summaries for leadership audiences.
- Change management or organizational effectiveness experience.
