We are seeking a skilled Factory Service Technician II (Electronics Technician) to join our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and test company-manufactured products returned from end users. The ideal candidate has strong component-level repair skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and maintain a “safety first” work environment.
• Perform operational evaluations of returned products.
• Diagnose and repair audio electronics at the component level (amplifiers, speakers, PCBs).
• Troubleshoot scalable IP networking systems, card-level, and component-level failures.
• Perform post-repair testing to ensure products meet factory specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions.
• Maintain historical repair records and communicate repeat failures to Engineering/Quality teams.
• Assist in training and developing less experienced technicians.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations to supervisors.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of component-level audio electronics repair experience.
• Soldering skills for surface mount and thru-hole components.
• Proficient with electronic testing and diagnostic equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Reliable, self-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree in electronics or related field.
• Experience with LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP, and networking technologies.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and VoIP system testing.
• Prior experience leading small teams in a process-driven environment.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodology.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Work is typically at a workbench but may require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse environment: some dust and variability in workspace.
