Job Summary
We are seeking an Electronics Production Lead for a direct hire opportunity in Orange, CA. This role supports electronics medical device manufacturing operations, including electronic assembly, PCBA assembly, soldering, inspection, testing, packaging, labeling, and production documentation.

The Electronics Production Lead will help drive daily production performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, product quality, documentation accuracy, ESD compliance, and regulated manufacturing standards. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on production professional with an electronics background who enjoys leading teams, solving production issues, and working closely with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support production employees performing electronics medical device assembly, PCBA assembly, cable and wire harness assembly, soldering, inspection, testing, packaging, and labeling.
- Plan daily work, organize workflow, assign production tasks, and monitor schedules to meet customer demand and internal production priorities.
- Ensure production activities follow approved procedures, work instructions, bills of materials, assembly drawings, device history record requirements, and controlled documentation.
- Promote compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QMSR/21 CFR Part 820, Good Documentation Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, ESD controls, and company quality procedures.
- Monitor production output, labor efficiency, downtime, scrap, rework, yield, test pass rates, and related production performance indicators.
- Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production, material, documentation, equipment, fixture, and test system issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead daily electronics medical device manufacturing activities across assembly, PCBA, soldering, inspection, testing, packaging, and labeling.
- Maintain production workflow, documentation accuracy, traceability, line clearance, and compliance with regulated manufacturing requirements.
- Train and support production employees on procedures, ESD practices, safety requirements, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
- Identify, document, and escalate nonconforming product, failed tests, process deviations, equipment concerns, calibration issues, and quality concerns.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Must have an electronics manufacturing background.
- Experience with electronic assembly, PCB assembly, soldering, inspection, functional testing, packaging, or related production activities.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production documents, quality records, and controlled documentation.
- Basic understanding of ESD controls, product traceability, production documentation, and quality record requirements.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and team-building skills in a production environment.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to product quality, electrical reliability, safety, and compliance.
- Ability to prioritize production demands while maintaining compliance with approved procedures and quality standards.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in an electronics manufacturing environment with ESD equipment, hand tools, test fixtures, calibrated equipment, magnification tools, and small electronic components.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, sit at production stations, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.
- Must follow all safety, quality, hygiene, ESD, calibration, and controlled-environment requirements.
- May require overtime, weekend work, or shift flexibility based on production and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification is a strong plus.
- Associate degree or technical training in electronics, manufacturing, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Electronics medical device manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience as a production lead, trainer, acting supervisor, or team lead.
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QMSR/21 CFR Part 820, Good Documentation Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, nonconformance handling, and CAPA processes.
- ERP or MES experience.
- Experience supporting investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, process validation, test method validation, equipment qualification, or continuous improvement projects.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese skills are preferred but not required.
