Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler to join our client’s team in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in soldering, bonding, and mechanical assembly, with the ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble parts using a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment according to specifications and established procedures.
• Perform soldering of SMT and through-hole components to industry standards (J-STD-001H).
• Conduct epoxy and silicone bonding processes.
• Carry out mechanical assembly tasks utilizing hand tools and other assembly equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Maintain flexibility to shift priorities quickly based on production needs.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team in a high-quality, fast-paced environment.
• Work under a microscope (10x magnification) for 8 to 10 hours daily.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on assembly experience under a microscope.
• J-STD-001H soldering experience required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex assembly procedures.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident (This is an ITAR-regulated facility).
