Great local company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join their manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in assembling products according to customer specifications and engineering guidelines. The ideal candidate is reliable, arrives on time daily, and works well in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble complex products using hand and power tools, based on verbal or written instructions and traveler documents.
Follow quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
May perform soldering on fine components (under 10x microscopes) using various wire gauges.
Participate in internal training programs and certification courses.
May assist with in-process inspections and potting compounds (preferred but not required).
Complete additional tasks as assigned by production management.
Schedule:
4/10 AWS (Monday–Thursday): Work 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with Fridays off.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: At least 1 year of related assembly or manufacturing experience.
Soldering experience preferred; prior training or certification is a plus.
Comfortable performing detailed work using microscopes and small tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with electronic testing is needed.
Ability to mix compounds for potting applications.
In-process inspection experience is helpful but not required.
Physical & Skill Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to work with small parts and under a microscope.
Good arm-hand steadiness and finger dexterity.
Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions and written documentation.
Fluent in English; Spanish is a bonus but not required.
Must be dependable, cooperative, and demonstrate integrity on the job.
Work Environment:
May involve standing or sitting for long periods.
Use of hand tools and small equipment in a moderate-noise environment.
