North OC, CA: My client is in need of hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler performs a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical subassembly and assembly operations requiring hand soldering (THT and/or SMT), cable/connector
work, mechanical assembly, build to traveler/work instructions.
The applicant MUST have the following qualifications:
Minimum 5 years related experience
Knowledge of electronic and electromechanical manufacturing methods and efficient manufacturing techniques in accordance with a published workmanship standard such as IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001.
Good vision (corrected or uncorrected) to match colors, read drawings, and inspect assemblies.
Perform soldering of SMD components using hand soldering techniques, hot air tools, and reflow processes.
Assemble and solder through-hole components on PCBs following schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use specialized hand tools and equipment.
Use of hand tools and specialized equipment for assembly tasks, soldering irons, wire crimp, wire cutter, electric screwdrivers
Excellent hand-eye dexterity to handle and manipulate very small parts.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions in English.
Proficient in handwriting and typing documentation into required forms.
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Assembly of electronic devices in a ESD Safe Environment, adhering to strict protocols and sanitation.
standards, including soldering components and assembly of subassemblies per drawings and BOM.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED
US citizenship
