Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Testing Assembler for a Temp to Hire opportunity in Lake Elsinore, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented manufacturing professional with electronics testing experience, fine assembly skills, and the ability to work from written instructions, travelers, blueprints, and engineering guidelines.
The Electrical Testing Assembler will support the manufacturing and testing of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, backup battery assemblies, and small electrical components used in the aerospace and defense industry. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys precise, hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and is comfortable working independently while communicating effectively with production, engineering, quality, and lead personnel.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test cable assemblies, wire harnesses, battery assemblies, and small electrical components according to blueprints, travelers, routers, and detailed work instructions.
- Use specialized testing equipment to perform continuity testing, insulation checks, voltage testing, signal integrity checks, and wiring verification.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects such as open circuits, short circuits, crossed wires, improper wiring, and other assembly or electrical issues.
- Operate small hand tools, power tools, heat guns, microscopes, multimeters, and other production or diagnostic equipment.
- Document test results, complete logs, prepare reports, and communicate findings to support repairs, quality control, and production flow.
- Follow quality, safety, ESD, and industry requirements while maintaining strong attention to detail and accurate workmanship.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp to Hire
- Schedule: 4/10 Alternative Work Week Schedule, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Location: Lake Elsinore, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Primary duties and projects include:
- Build and test electrical cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and small battery assemblies.
- Perform electrical testing using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and specialized testers.
- Work from written instructions, travelers, routers, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Troubleshoot wiring, assembly, and test failures while documenting results accurately.
Required qualifications and skills:
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing, electrical assembly, testing, or a similar production environment.
- Testing experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to perform continuity testing, voltage testing, or similar electrical verification processes.
- Experience with complete assembly builds using written instructions is strongly desired, rather than only limited single-station line assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, travelers, routers, and detailed work instructions.
- Experience using small hand tools, power tools, heat guns, microscopes, multimeters, and other precision assembly or testing tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English instructions clearly.
- Previous ESD training, or ability to obtain ESD training within 30 days of hire.
- Strong finger dexterity, manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and near vision for working with very small parts and precision assemblies.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures involving measurements, weights, tolerances, specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, problem-solving ability, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Comfortable with repetitive, focused assembly work in a dedicated production cell.
- Ability to pass annual visual acuity requirements.
- Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by ITAR, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fine soldering experience, especially with small gauge wires or work performed under 10x microscopes.
- Prior solder training, certification, or demonstrated soldering skill.
- Wire harness or cable assembly experience.
- Experience with in-process inspection.
- Experience working with small electrical components, backup batteries, or compact electronic assemblies.
- Prior aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing experience.
- Experience working across multiple stations of an assembly line or completing full assembly builds from start to finish.
