Electrical Superintendent

We’re partnering with a leading electrical contractor to find an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems in both new-build and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, committed to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Plan daily and weekly work schedules; assign tasks to electricians and helpers
Procure materials & tools; coordinate timely delivery of major equipment
Lead on-site meetings with general contractors, inspectors, and owner representatives
Supervise installations to ensure compliance with contract documents, wiring diagrams, and code requirements
Call for inspections; accompany inspectors, document violations, and coordinate corrective actions
Enforce Safety, Drug-Free Workplace, and Hazardous Communication programs
Liaise with manufacturers and owner’s reps to resolve technical issues and ensure correct installations
Assess team members’ strengths; assign tasks accordingly to optimize productivity

Qualifications & Experience
Licensing: Journeyman or Master Electrician license required

Training & Experience:
= 4 years in an approved apprenticeship program

= 8 years of commercial electrical field experience
= 7 years in supervisory or superintendent roles on commercial projects

Certifications:
OSHA 10-Hour
CPR/First Aid
Hilti (or equivalent) Certification
Forklift Training (preferred)

Technical Skills:
Proficient with cable tuggers, conduit benders, lifts, trenchers, backhoes, cranes, generators, etc.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer’s data
Skilled at sketching field modifications and communicating them to crews
