Job Summary

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Bayamon, PR with an engineering services contractor supporting construction projects across Puerto Rico. This role is ideal for an electrical engineering professional with experience in construction, industrial, or commercial electrical environments who enjoys field work, technical coordination, and seeing projects move from plans to successful execution.

The Electrical Engineer will support federal construction projects with a strong focus on electrical systems, code compliance, technical documentation, and on-site problem solving. Key Responsibilities

- Participate in construction projects focused on electrical systems, primarily within federal project environments.
- Perform field inspections, site validations, technical reviews, and progress assessments for electrical work.
- Interpret and validate electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and related documentation.
- Ensure electrical installations and project activities comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support for the development and implementation of on-site electrical solutions.
- Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and other professionals to support effective project execution and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $60,000 to $78,000 annually.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Overtime availability as needed.
- Direct hire opportunity.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or electrical installation environments within industrial or commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and technical documentation tools.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and construction project practices.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
- Availability to work across the island.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, field coordination ability, and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of electrical estimating for construction or engineering projects.
- Experience supporting federal construction projects.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, inspectors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
