We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join to established engineering and construction firm providing turnkey energy solutions, including solar PV systems, microgrids, battery storage, and renewable energy integration across Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and the U.S. mainland. The company values sustainability, innovation, and delivering high-quality projects with a focus on environmental impact and customer-centric engineering excellence.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support our solar and renewable energy project portfolio — including PV solar systems, storage solutions, and hybrid grid applications. You’ll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to design, analyze, and implement electrical systems that power the future of energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical systems for solar PV and renewable energy projects

Create one-line diagrams, load calculations, and electrical layouts

Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and industry standards

Support permitting documentation and utility interconnection processes

Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and stakeholders

Perform technical reviews, system verification, and commissioning support

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience with solar PV system design and renewables preferred

Familiarity with NEC, grounding, and electrical safety standards

Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar engineering software

Strong analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
