We are seeking an Electrical Assembler for an onsite opportunity in State College, PA. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who enjoy detailed hands-on work, precision assembly, and contributing to high-quality electronic products in a manufacturing environment.
As an Electrical Assembler, you will assemble electronic components, cables, and sensors while following drawings, work orders, and established procedures. This position offers steady weekday hours, a supportive production team, and the opportunity to build valuable skills in electronic assembly, soldering, microscope work, and quality-focused manufacturing.
Candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing fine assembly work will be well positioned for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, cables, sensors, and related parts according to work instructions and drawings.
- Perform hand soldering, bonding, and basic testing to support production requirements.
- Use a microscope for detailed assembly and inspection work over extended periods.
- Follow work orders, procedures, safety guidelines, quality standards, and 5S practices.
- Maintain accurate production records while meeting daily production goals.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and ready for use.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $16 to $19 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Duration: 4-month contract with possible extensions.
- Work Location: Onsite in State College, PA.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
- Assemble electronic components, cables, and sensors in a production environment.
- Perform detailed hand soldering, bonding, and basic testing tasks.
- Read and follow drawings, work orders, and written procedures.
- Maintain quality, safety, 5S, and production documentation standards.
- High School Diploma required.
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to sit and perform detailed microscope work for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently use hands and fingers for fine assembly work.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk throughout the workday.
- Ability to work around chemicals, solvents, and laser equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hand soldering experience preferred.
- Microscope assembly or inspection experience preferred.
- Previous electronic assembly, cable assembly, sensor assembly, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
