Electrical Apprentice/Junior Estimator

A growing electrical contractor specializing in commercial construction in Irvine, CA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Electrical Apprentice open to learn estimating. This Junior Estimator role is ideal for someone with knowledge of electrical work, electrical project documentation, and coordinating with suppliers in a fast-paced environment with multiple active projects.

In this role, you will learn the following key responsibilities:

Analyze blueprints for accuracy and completeness
Perform takeoffs, layouts, and quantity measurements using
Bluebeam Assist with bid preparation and pricing compilation
Determine fixture, device, and equipment quantities and power requirements
Manage bid invitations and support bid pipeline prioritization
Coordinate with suppliers by sending drawings, requesting quotes, and organizing received pricingMaintain accurate project documentation and records

Additional Skills

Requirements:
Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel highly preferred
Estimating and costing experience highly preferred
Background in electrical construction or related industry
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
