We are seeking professional and customer-focused individuals for an Election Support Specialist opportunity in St. Augustine, FL. This position plays an important role in supporting voter services and election operations while providing excellent service to the public.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong administrative, clerical, or customer service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced public service environment.

Responsibilities
-Provide professional and courteous customer service to the public
-Answer incoming phone calls and assist with voter and election-related inquiries
-Provide information regarding:
-Voter registration
-Vote-by-mail ballots
-Election information
-Candidate and campaign filing requirements
-Direct calls to appropriate staff members as needed
-Take accurate messages and maintain detailed records
-Perform routine clerical and administrative duties
-Scan, index, and organize documents
-Assist with election materials, supplies, and list maintenance activities
-Research provisional ballots and assist with election preparation
-Support community outreach and educational programs as needed

Qualifications
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
-Ability to work professionally with the public and team members
-Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing work environment
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment
-Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, when needed
-Must be a registered voter in the State of Florida

Preferred Qualifications
-Fluent Spanish-speaking bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
(Bilingual pay rate: $20/hr)

Schedule

Candidates must be flexible to work:
-Evenings
-Weekends
-Holidays
-Overtime during election periods as needed
