About the Opportunity
We are a recruiting and staffing agency partnering with Richland County Voter Registration and Elections to hire Election Day Workers for the 2026 elections and beyond. This is a great opportunity to support your local community while earning extra income in a meaningful, fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
Election Day Workers play a critical role in ensuring elections run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to remain neutral and nonpartisan while assisting voters throughout the day.
Responsibilities
• Assist with Election Day operations at assigned polling locations
• Support voters and provide general guidance as needed
• Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with election regulations
• Maintain a professional, nonpartisan environment at all times
• Complete all required training prior to Election Day
Requirements
• Must be at least 17 years old
• Must be a registered voter in South Carolina if 18 or older
• Ability and willingness to complete all required training
• Ability to work the full Election Day schedule
• Must remain neutral and nonpartisan while working
Onboarding Requirements
• Two forms of government issued identification
• Voter Registration Card or Voter Registration Number
• Direct deposit information such as a voided check or bank form

Candidates selected will be invited to attend an in-person hiring event:
Dates: April 23 or April 27
Time: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
