We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive "EHS Specialist" to join a manufacturing company. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the plant.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, 2 days off.
SALARY: $18 - $23 p/h + Benefits

ACTIVITIES:
- Participate in accident investigations, including implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Implement ergonomics programs and conduct ongoing evaluations.
- Coordinate and manage the plant’s EHS training schedule.
- Provide required safety and environmental training in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), local regulations, and company policies.
- Perform regular safety inspections to ensure EHS compliance and report any issues to management.
- Participate in Safety, Emergency Response, and Ergonomics Committees.
- Support emergency response and plant evacuation procedures as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of EHS standards and regulations (OSHA, EPA, JCA, and others).
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
