We are seeking for an "EHS Officer" to work with a contractor company in construction projects.

LOCATION: Carolina PR
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm with availability to do overtime or assist on weekends if required.
SALARY: $16 - $22 p/h depending on experience.

ACTIVITIES:
- Ensuring the project adheres to all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
- Identifying potential hazards and risks associated with the manufacturing process and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Developing and implementing safety protocols, procedures, and training programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Implementing measures to minimize the environmental impact of the manufacturing project, including waste management and pollution prevention.
- Ensuring safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Developing and coordinating emergency response plans to address potential incidents.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, Occupational Health or similar.
-OSHA certifications.
-Previous experience as EHS Officer (Pharmaceutical environment preferred).
-Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
-Bilingual.
