We're seeking for an "EHS Officer" to work with a company that offers engineering services.

This is a 1 year Federal Construction Project.

LOCATION: San Juan PR
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 7 am - 4 pm
SALARY: $15 - $22 P/H

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Ensure compliance with safety standards on federally funded construction projects
• Conduct daily job-site inspections and document findings
• Prepare and submit incident reports, near-miss documentation, and corrective actions
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks with field personnel
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve safety issues
• Maintain accurate records of safety training and certifications
• Promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the project
• Other related tasks may be assigned depending on project needs

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Environmental engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil & Structure Engineering, or similar.
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, preferably in construction
• Experience with federally funded projects (preferred)
• Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish
