Senior EDI System Analyst
Salary: $44.20p/h
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days onsite (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Position Summary
The Senior EDI System Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions within a healthcare environment. This role serves as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring seamless system integrations, data accuracy, and compliance with industry interoperability standards.
This position operates with a high level of independence, leading complex initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving improvements in data integration and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions related to EDI and data integration
• Design, implement, and support data integrations using EDI, APIs, SFTP, and other technologies
• Serve as a technical and functional subject matter expert for EDI-related processes
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions
• Monitor integration processes (ADT, LAB, RAD, CCDA) and investigate errors or rejections
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for data and integration issues
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI for operational insights
• Partner with vendors and external stakeholders on implementations and troubleshooting
• Lead projects and facilitate team or stakeholder meetings when required
• Mentor and support junior analysts
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems analysis within a healthcare environment
• Strong experience with EDI and ANSI standards
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
Technical Skills
• Interoperability standards: HL7, CCDA, JSON, XML
• Healthcare data platforms: FHIR, EDH, Excelicare
• Integration tools and methods: APIs (Postman or similar), SFTP, EDI processes
• Strong data manipulation skills using SQL and Power Query (M)
• Advanced Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboards, reporting)
• Experience with ADT processing, monitoring, and error analysis
